The more keys to manage, the more difficult it is to keep track and maintain the desired level of security for your buildings and assets. To efficiently and securely manage a large amount of keys for your company premises or vehicle fleet can be a huge administrative burden. Our electronic key control systems will help you.

Control, track your keys, and restrict who can access them, and when. Recording and analyzing who is using keys - and where they’re using them - enables insights into business data you may not otherwise gather.

    Key Receptors Strip

The locking receptor strips lock the key tags in position and will only unlock them to users authorized to access that particular item. So, Locking Receptor Strips provide the highest level of security and control for those who can access protected keys, and it's recommended for those requiring a solution of restricting access to each individual key.

Dual-color LED indicators at each key position guide the user to quickly locate keys, and provide clarity as to which keys a user is allowed to remove.

Another function of the LEDs is that they illuminate a pathway to the correct return position, should a user place a key set in the wrong place.

    User Terminal

    User identification and access control

The user terminal, the control center of key cabinets, is an easy-to-use and intelligent user interface. Users can be identified via fingerprint, smart card, or PIN code entry. After log-in, the user selects the desired key either from a list of keys or directly by its number. The system will automatically guide the user to the corresponding key slot. The system user terminal allows quick returning keys. Users only have to present the key fob in front of the external RFID reader in the terminal, the terminal will identify the key and guide the user to the right key receptor slot.

    RFID key tag

Smart reliable identification for your keys

The key tag range of devices consists of passive transponders in the form of a key fob. Each key tag has a unique identity so that its location within the cabinet is known.

    • Keys are securely attached using special security seals
    • Contactless, so no wear
    • Works without a battery

    Is it right for you

An intelligent key cabinet might be right for your business if you experience the following challenges:

    • Difficulty keeping track of and distributing a large number of keys, fobs, or access cards for vehicles, equipment, tools, cabinets, etc.
    • Time wasted in manually keeping track of numerous keys (e.g., with a paper sign-out sheet)
    • Downtime looking for missing or misplaced keys Staff lack accountability to look after shared facilities and equipment
    • Security risks in keys being brought off premised (e.g., accidentally taken home with staff)
    • The current key management system not adhering to the organization’s security policies
    • Risks of having no re-key the entire system if a physical key goes missing

Due to the i-keybox intelligent key management system, you will always know where your keys are and who is using them. You are able to define, and limit key permissions for users. Each event is stored in the Log where you can filter for users, keys and so on. One cabinet can manage up to 200 keys but more cabinets can be connected together so the number of keys are unlimited, which can be controlled and configured from a central office.
